My Lip filler Review in Malaysia ( Before & After )

Yay! Finally I have a fuller lips!
I've been based in Malaysia for my online florist recently and I found Bella Clinic for aesthetic services like filler and botox. I used to not putting any lip colour, as it only enhanced the bad lip shape whenever I put those colours on.

Till I did my lip filler with Bella, my fuller lips conquered a lot of lipsticks haha! Although I got sponsored by many brands and yet, I'm still buying more and more for my beautiful lips!

Half of my collection, another half in Singapore lol!!!

I know lip fillers are such a controversial topic right now, but I really don't regret a thing. It's given me the biggest confidence especially when I put on lipsticks.

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Is this permanent?
Nope. Dermal Filler last up to 12 months, depending on individual and where the filler is injected.

2. Does it hurt?
A little bit. First they will put on numb cream and it actually minimise the pain when the filler is injected. For some area especially the border of my lips feel a little bit more painful, it's normal but still tolerable for me.

3. Does it bruise?
Very minimal. It doesn't bruise on the first day for me, but on the second day onwards it does a little bit on a certain part of my lips, but it's easily concealed with make up. The bruises went away after few days.

4. How much does it cost?
It cost RM1800 for lip fillers, and they are using Juvederm.

5. How long is the injection process?
It took about 15-20 minutes.

Before & After

and now I'm more confident taking selfless with solid lipstick on!

GRAND Plastic Surgery Korea : My Liposuction Review ( Part 1 )

It's my forth month now after I went through my liposuction treatment with Grand Plastic Surgery. I'll say, no regrets on this decision as I found myself really happier and more confident to fit into the attires I like and looking good in them.

It's like a dream!

I know many of you are curious and interested to know the "making of" a new me, and the exciting sharing has begun:

My Liposuction was scheduled on the April's fool day. I've been told that no food or drink intake 10 hours before my liposuction, so I fast since the night before.

I was so excited for it! All I can think of is a "balanced" Charlene. On the Liposuction day, I went to Grand in the morning and my personal translator, Yoonah attended to me. she guided me through the steps before entering to the surgery room.

First of all, a garment specialist measured my thighs before I changed my outfits. Wearing a compression garment is a Must for those who did liposuction as it helps to decrease the extent of bruising following liposuction and may also help decrease the swelling and possibly lower the risk of fluid accumulation known as a seroma. The specialist advised me to get two pairs in different sizes, so I can fit in the smaller one on my second month onwards.

After I put on my surgery attires, basic face cleanse is needed to remove skincare/makeup on your face. Yoonah then led me into a room for pre-liposuction marking/drawing on my treatment area - thighs. This helps to delineate areas in the standing position that may change when a patient lies down on the operating table and makes these areas less prominent.

I was a bit nervous at first. But my doctor was super friendly and professional, this made me feel easy and confident. I'm happy that Yoonah was all the way beside me to make me feel secured. haha.

After all the preparation done, I was led into the surgery room. Guess what? The room was crazily cold! I was freezing but have no choice as they need to go through the entire liposuction in super low temperature to decrease the bacteria and viruses load in the operating room. I was uncontrollable shivering and freezing in no time.

The nurses applied the antiseptic lotion towards my treatment area before I lie down on the surgery bed. The physicians then use only local anesthesia, that is, anaesthesia and sedative that they inject with a syringe or pump into the area where they will do the liposuction. The anesthesia medicine is injected along with a lot of fluid, usually buffered salt water and epinephrine, a drug to reduce bleeding. I saw the doctor walked in the surgery room. Then I was totally gone in a few seconds after the sedative anaesthesia being injected to my body. Yes, it took just a few seconds. ( less than five I guess )

My throat was extremely dried and in need of water, therefore I opened up my eyes even though I'm still into my sleep. I saw myself resting in the recovery room. No feeling on my thighs after the liposuction honestly. The nurses are so sweet as they got me a hot pack inside my blanket filled with hot water to keep my body warm. Then I slowly took some water, super duper thirsty after seventeen hours without water intake.

Then I continued rest on the bed for another one hour before I changed back into my own clothes. My legs were painless but numb, therefore I walked very slow. I collected my stuffs and bought my medicine at the pharmacy next to Grand Plastic Surgery Hospital. ( The patients need to buy their own medicine in the pharmacy with the prescription from the doctor - Korea's practice )

I grabbed some sandwiches and fruit juices from the convenient store and I took a cab back to my home stay. I still can't believe that I have done my liposuction. Ate those food and fall asleep. Took a real long afternoon nap on that day.

GRAND Plastic Surgery Korea : My Liposuction Review - Consultation Day

Liposuction has become one of the most popular procedures to treat cellulite and micro fat recently. I used to be a super-pear-shape girl who always can't fit into a long jeans nicely because of my unproportionate hips and thighs. When they fit me snugly at the waist, it will be too tight at the thighs. I'm not trying to be skinny, but I want to be "Balance". At least overall looking is fine. I'm so blessed to have chanced upon this collaboration with the leading plastic surgery clinic in Korea, GRAND for my liposuction journey.

The biggest plastic surgery in Korea, Grand is certified by Department of Health and Human Services and it has one-stop system with 30 experienced professional medical staffs. A gem located in Sinsa with 21 floors and the whole building is designed by the famous interior design, Manjae Koo over 2 years. I indeed love their building inside-out.

Filling up the registration form at Grand.

Meet my personally translator - Yuna!
She is super sweet, lovely, helpful and pretty.

Selfie anytime, anywhere.

Did my BMI test before the consultation.

BMI and thigh measurement checked.

Got my consultation from the director of the hospital - Ryu SangWook
He is an experienced doctor who gives wise advice and he answered all my enquiries accordingly. We have then agreed on liposuction on my thigh area. I felt excited and I can't wait for it to happen. I have then arranged the liposuction on two days after my consultation.

I truly love the interior design here in Grand.
Super elegant and comfortable.

The night view from here is just Perfect.

** Thanks to my personal photographer - SuYeon **
She is super lovely and obviously a great one in photo taking.

what's next?

Stay tuned!

Botox + Fillers : 3 Steps to Korean Heart Shaped V-Face

What if you can have your face touch up without surgery? Due to high rates of satisfaction and no down time, aesthetic injection treatments have been steadily growing in popularity over the past few years. Glad to have this opportunity to try on both Botox & Filler and the result is Amazing!

For ladies who doesn't want to have invasive surgery, Botox and Filler are definitely a good idea for a prettier and younger face. I feel so happy that I have my heart shaped V-Face after the injection suggested by Dr J. I'm not sure about the aesthetic treatment in Singapore at first as I feel the doctors here might have a different sense about "beautiful face". Afraid not, I done my Botox and Filler with Dr J and I'm super happy with my face now!

Did I mention about no down time? I went to work on the next day and none of my colleague can tell what I did on my face until I told them. If you want some changes for your upcoming X'mas and New Year image, I think this is definitely the right timing to do a little trick to your face. Guess what? They are having a Promotion now!

Pictures speak louder!
Before & After

Let's have a look on my treatment procedure =)
Thanks to Samuel Ng @pixioo for procedure's pictures ^^

Consultation with Dr J, voicing my concerns on my smile lines and I want my face slimmer

Dr J examining my jaws

Dr J examining my chin and simulating how my chin will look like after fillers.

These are the procedures Dr J suggested:

1) Dysport V lift to lift the side of the face and cheeks
2) Chin fillers - to sharpen the chin and add a defined tip.
3) Nose fillers - to create a distinct nose bridge and nose tip.  Dr J shared that with a sharper midline of the face (nose and chin) the face will look even distinctly slimmer.
4) Fillers for the laugh lines - with the lines reduced I will look even younger and less chubby.

1) + 2) = 3) = a V shape slim face!

Ok time to start!   Notice my nose and chin as they are about to change!

Dr J started with marking my face

V lift performed on my right side

Right side done!

right side smile line fillers - contrary to how it looks, it feel relatively painless
Dr J is obviously a skilful doctor, he knows what he is doing
ps: he is super friendly too ^^

Next procedure is the V lift with dysport - this is even less painful than the muscle reduction!

V lift on the left side

preparation for smile fillers on the left

markings on the nose for nose filling!

nose fillers done! look at my new nose!
markings for jaw and chin fillers

chin fillers done

Can you notice the difference?

I feel so good as I can have nice selfie with Any angle ^^
( unlike previously I have to catch my best angle for slimmer face )

No regrets to have my Botox & Filler done with Dr. J!
Book an appointment with Dr J. if you wish to have a cuter & younger face too ^v^

By the way the clinic is now having a promotion for the procedures mentioned above:
